About
I am a writer, editor, and English PhD student based in Hawai‘i, by way of North Carolina, DC, and Spain. My research centers on contemporary women’s life writing and queer theory, and I am particularly interested in texts focused on Jewish identity and intermarriage. My own creative nonfiction and fiction writing often explores these themes, too.
In addition to my studies, I teach undergraduate composition courses and serve as the Reviews Editor and Editorial Assistant at Biography: An Interdisciplinary Quarterly. I have previously taught high school, community college, and university writing classes, and I spent two years as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at the University of Málaga in Spain.
I earned my MA in English (2019) and BA in English and Psychology (2017) at Georgetown University, where I worked as a university writing consultant for five years.
I enjoy supporting clients across all academic disciplines and levels with their writing projects. You can learn more about my editing and tutoring services here.
